Pelletier Guitar and Music Camp Offers These Special Guitar Classes
|
|
| |
- Hot Electric Guitar Licks Freddie's experience as an electric telecaster player allows him to teach a class of
how to play great licks to any country tune and play filling licks around a singer. This class follows the pattern of
his instructional DVD 'Hot Practical Country Guitar Licks' that was a top 10 seller with Ruemark video distributing.
To get the most out of this class you should be an Intermediate to Advanced player. This was such a successful and fun
class last year, we're bringing it back this year! Week 3 ONLY
- Gypsy Jazz Learn the jazz of the 30's and 40's as played by
Django Rheinhart, the spiritual Godfather of jazz manouche. Taught by
Clint Pelletier. For intermediate-advanced guitarists. WEEK 2 ONLY
- Fingerstyle Guitar All of our instructors ore great finger style players: Freddie, Clint Pelletier and Pete
Laflamme can teach this class as can Dorian Michael. Dorian recently recorded two instructional DVD's for Centerstream
Publications on beginner and intermediate finger style guitar. Instructor will be determined closer to camp date. All
levels except raw beginners. All weeks.
- Blues Dorian Michael, of California, is back to teach that hard driving, gut wrenching blues that he does oh,
so well! He recently recorded an instructional DVD for Centerstream Publications on Blues Improvisation. He's the master
of the blues (and many other styles) so don't miss out on his great class! All weeks, all levels.
- Very Beginner 'Strum and Sing' Guitar This is a TWO DAY, eight
hour class and it's perfect for absolute beginners. It's not too long so
you can absorb all the information, easier to get away for just two days
and by the time your fingers get sore, you'll be done the program. Learn
a few basic chords, sing and accompany yourself. Taught by Linda Campbell.
Program and songs are created for adults but younger beginners can benefit
greatly. OFFERED July 30-31. You should have your own guitar
for this class but if you don't, we can provide one for you. Please let us
know by June 20th, if possible, if you would like us to supply a guitar.
Please note that we do not offer a rock guitar class at camp. We do have
instructors that can offer individual lessons in this area if requested.
